<br />Council Member Travis suggested it may be possible to tie the public works facility into <br />the upcoming Pheasant Marsh utilities. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft stated it would be fine to wait for two months to tie the project into <br />the Pheasant Marsh project. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Travis. seconded by Council Member Nelson to table <br />this matter for more information. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />10. Parks and Recreation Recommendations. <br /> <br />Mr. March reviewed with Council a Memo from Jill Lien concerning Park and <br />Recreation Recommendations. He further explained there were approximately ten (10) <br />people at the public hearing on Laurie LaMotte Park and there was no opposition to <br />lighting the fields. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked what the price difference was between lighting one field <br />versus lighting all three. Mr. March noted if the City intended to light the other fields in <br />the future it would save money to install enough power now to the main hub to do so. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Capra to <br />authorize a reqUest for bids for runnin2 600 amp electrical service at Laurie <br />LaMotte Memorial Park. per the specifications provided by the City En2ineer. All <br />in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IX. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />1. The City ofCenterville March 1, through March 14, 2001 Expenditures <br />2. Centennial Fire District Expenditures <br />3. Fete des Lacs Committee's recommendation for appointment of Ms. Patricia Scott <br />4. Successful completion of year 4 (Account Clerk/Receptionist, Jill Lien) <br />Recommended Step Increase from Step 4 to Step 5 <br />5. St. Genevieve's Temporary Gambling Permit Requests <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg requested the City Expenditures be pulled from the Consent Agenda for <br />discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson, seconded by Council Member Capra to <br />approve the Consent A2enda for Items 2, 3, 4, and 5 as presented. All in favor. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg noted the year to date figures do not add up on the City Expenditures <br />information and asked that Mr. March review them. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Swedbel"2. seconded by Council Member Nelson to approve <br />Consent A)!enda Item 1.
