'Tal( (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-006 <br /> <br />LAURIE LAMOTTE MEMORIAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS <br />GRANT APPLICATION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Centerville act as legal sponsor for the Laurie <br />LaMotte Memorial Park Improvement Project contained in the Outdoor Recreation Grant <br />Program Application to be submitted on or before March 31, 2001, and that the City <br />Administrator is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Natural Resources for <br />funding on this project on behalf of the City of Centerville. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Centerville has the legal authority to <br />apply for financial assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to <br />ensure adequate construction, operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed <br />project for its design life. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ofCenterville has not incurred any costs <br />described in Item 4 and has not entered into any written agreements to purchase property. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Centerville has not violated any Federal, <br />State, or Local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, contlict of <br />interest or other unlawful or corrupt practice. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the state, the City <br />ofCenterville may enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above <br />referenced project, and that the City of Centerville certifies that it will comply with all <br />applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant agreement. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby <br />authorized to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on <br />behalf of the applicant. <br /> <br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE ON MARCH 14,2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Jim March, City Administrator <br /> <br />Tim Swedberg, Mayor <br />
