Six requests were sent out to local contractors and previous contractors. I have <br />received five quotes for the work through the years 2001-2003. The scope ofthe work <br />includes routing the crack, drying and cleaning the cut joint with a heat torch, installing a <br />hot rubberized asphalt material and cover to prevent tracking. <br /> <br />The quotes are as follows: <br /> 2001 2002 2003 <br />AlliedBillc~opCompany $.39/lf $.39/lf $.39/lf <br />Bergman Companies, Inc. $.42/lf $.45/lf $.47/lf <br />Nugent Sealcoating $.50/lf $.52/lf $.53/lf <br />Gopher State Sealcoating Inc. $.58/lf $.58/lf $.58/lf <br />Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $.70/lf $. 72/lf $.74/lf <br /> <br />I would recommend that the Council accept the quote from Allied Blac~op Company for <br />the years 2001-2003 at a cost of $.39 per lineal foot. <br />
