Donated last year (I think) <br /> <br />Parking $350 Land <br />$50 Fencing/ribbon, etc. <br /> <br />Shirts $300 <br /> <br />Postage/Stationary $500 (send out one package of info regarding all area ofthe event) <br /> <br />Softball Tournament <br /> <br />Expenses <br />Advertising $500 <br /> <br />Income? <br />Charge for Parking? $1000?Last year we did not charge for parking. <br /> <br />Beach Party <br /> <br />Expenses: <br /> <br />Band <br />Tent, tables, chairs <br /> <br />$2750 <br />$2313 <br /> <br />Income: <br /> <br />Buttons or admission $5000 (Note: the latest idea proposed for the buttons is to <br />use an acrylic button that would cost much less <br />than a steel button) <br /> <br />Other considerations <br /> <br />This year we have changed our fundraising strategies a little to offer more benefits to those <br />businesses who decide to participate and offer citizens the opportunity to donate small amounts <br />of money in exchange for reserved seating, preferred parking and other perks. <br /> <br />We have potential income from charging food vendors a fee for their space or a percentage of <br />their sales. Last year we did not charge a fee. <br /> <br />We have an agreement that the Centerville Lions Club will reimburse us 10% of the beer sales <br />profit. Last year this came out to be about $400. <br /> <br />As you are aware this is a weather sensitive event, in other words, if the weather is pleasant <br />the income numbers represented here could much better, inclement weather could reduce <br />these income numbers. <br />
