Centervi[[e/:M'JI[ 55038 <br />(651) 429-3232 . ~a;( (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-005 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON <br />WATER MAIN EXTENSION AND STREETSCAPING FOR THE DOWNTOWN <br />AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Centerville City Council, adopted February 15, <br />2001, a report has been prepared by City Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & <br />Associates, with reference to the infrastructure of the Downtown Area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this report was received by the City of Centerville City Council on <br />February 28,2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information adequate to determine whether the <br />proposed project is necessary, cost-effective and feasible; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City ofCenterville hereby elects <br />to: . <br /> <br />1. Consider the improvements of the Downtown Area in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 28th <br />day of March, 2001, in council chambers of the City Hall at 6:30 p.m. or <br />shortly thereafter and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of <br />such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City <br />ofCenterville Council thisJ..sth day of February, 2001. <br /> <br />Tim Swedberg, Mayor <br /> <br />Jim March, City Administrator <br />
