The truck quote is from Boyer Trucks and the body and plow package is from J~ <br />Craft. Both of these firms are well known for their truck specialties. The truck I have <br />assembled is similar to the City's older 1985 truck. It's a single axle truck with an eleven <br />foot bi~directional plow with an eleven foot wing plow and rear sander. <br /> <br />The City has allocated $65,000.00 fro~ previous years towards the replacement of the <br />sanding plow truck. With the current allocation of $25,000.00 the total monies allocated <br />to date is $90,000.00. The new truck will cost $88,941.00 plus tax, freight and license. <br />The current prices are good thru 31 March 2001. The delivery date of the truck is <br />approximately five months from the order date. <br /> <br />I'm requesting that the City Council approve the purchase of the truck as noted on the <br />summary quotation from Boyer Trucks and J-Craft, Inc. <br />
