<br />-11 <br /> <br />SUBURBAN INSPECTIONS <br /> <br />Instructions for wiring installations in the jurisdictions listed below. <br /> <br />An electrical permit must be on file with the city/township before wiring begins. <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> <br />1880 Main Street, Centerville, MN 55038 <br />600 Town Center Parkway, Lino Lakes, MN 55014 <br /> <br />Use a "STATE FORM. Show contractor's complete address, including zip code. <br />Add $ .50 FOR STATE SURCHARGE to total cost of each permit. <br />Make check PAYABLE to the CITY!TOWNSHIP where job site is located. <br />MAIL or DELIVER the white and pink copy of permit with payment to THE CITY rrOWNSHIP OFFICE. <br /> <br />An owner may install wiring only on premises he/she occupies as a residence or will occupy as a residence <br />upon completion of construction. <br /> <br />The installer (contractor or owner) MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH PROPER INSTALLATION METHODS <br />PRIOR TO BEGINNING INSTALLATION. <br /> <br />It is unlawful for any person to assist an owner in installing electrical wiring unless that person is a properly <br />licensed employee of a licensed electrical contractor and that contractor has a valid permit for the wiring. <br /> <br />The permit signer (contractor/owner) is responsible for calling to arrange all required inspections including <br />the pre occupancy inspection. <br /> <br />A rough-in inspection is required prior to covering of installed wiring. Covered wiring must be uncovered <br />for inspection. <br /> <br />The pre occupance inspection is required on all additions, remodels, lower level finishes, storage/detached <br />structures, etc., as well as new structures. <br /> <br />For electrical inspections in the above jurisdictions, call: <br /> <br />SUBURBAN INSPECTIONS <br />612-434-6868 7:00 - 9:00 AM <br />MONDAY - FRIDAY EXCEPT HOLIDAYS <br />
