<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 23, 2000 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />I Not Approved I <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly <br />scheduled meeting on August 23,2000, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharbcr <br />Council Member Dick Travis <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br />Council Member Mari Nelson <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br />City Attorney, James Hoeft <br />City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the August 23, 2000 City Council meeting to order at <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />The following items were added to the agenda: <br /> <br />. Ordinance #4 under Unfinished Business <br />. Correspondence from Lloyd Drilling under Unfinished Business <br />. City Hall Generator under New Business <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Sweeney. seconded by Council Member Nelson <br />to approve the agenda with noted additions. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />III. PUBLIC HEARING (8) <br /> <br />Ordinance #4 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. March stated this was a public hearing to discuss the final changes made to <br />Ordinance #4 as the recreational vehicle length was being increased to thirty-five <br />(35) feet and minor language being amended to the whereabouts vehicles could be <br />parked. He noted recreational vehicles could not be parked in the right-of-way of <br />any driveway. Mr. March indicated the side setback was being changed to five <br />(5) feet and ten (10) feet for the rear yard setback. <br />
