Joe showed me some of <br />their plant stock that has been stunted by the chlorine in the City water. It appeared that <br />some plants are more susceptible to the chlorine and some are more tolerant. Joe has <br />written a letter asking permission to install a private well solely for the irrigation of plant <br />stock. The building would continue to be connected to City water. I discussed this issue <br />with City Engineer Tom Peterson and he did not see a problem with this request. <br />
