GOT-Em Development - Eagle Park Sport / Tennis Court
Ms. Lien explained that after contacting Mr. Quigley earlier that day, he informed her
that he would not be able to attend the Parks and Recreation Meeting that evening. Mr.
Quigley faxed a letter to the Parks and Recreation Committee expressing his intentions
regarding the completion of the park in the Eagle Pass sub-division. Mr. Quigley is
currently evaluating the area required for the court to determine the possibility of
providing a regulation tennis court, as well as an additional smaller court area to be used
for a basketball area. Mr. Quigley is relying on the Parks and Recreation Committee's
knowledge of the recreational needs ofthe area to be the determining factor.

The consensus ofthe Parks and Recreation Committee was to determine if there is
enough space for both a regulation size tennis court, and a sport court. The committee
made the following motion:

Motion by Mr. LeBlanc, seconded by Mr. Walter to have Mr. Peterson and Mr.
Porter and any other available Parks and Recreation Committee Members, go to
Eagle Park on Friday, October 6, 2000 at 4:00 p.m. to look at the park layout and to
decide the feasibility of: 1) a regulation size tennis court, surface, fence and a
separate sport court; 2) tennis court alone; and 3) sport court alone. All in favor.
Motion carried unanimously.

1
