(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTER VILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 00 - 29 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR DELINQUENT SEWER AND WATER <br />ACCOUNTS AND OTHER OUTSTANDING BALANCES OWED TO THE CITY <br />BY INDIVIDUAL PROPERTY OWNER(S) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city has determined that there are properties with delinquent sewer and <br />water accounts and/or outstanding balances owed to the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the clerk has notified the council that such proposed assessment has been <br />completed and filed in the City office for public inspection; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notification to affected property owners has already taken place; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. A hearing shall be held on the 22nd day of November in the city hall council <br />chambers at 6:00 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter, to pass upon such <br />proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property <br />affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be hear with <br />reference to such assessment. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the <br />proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper and shall <br />state in the notice the total cost of the proposed assessments. <br /> <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification <br />of the assessment to the County, pay the whole of the assessment on such <br />property and that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />prior to November 9,2000. <br /> <br />Adopted by Council this 25th day of October, 2000. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Jim March, City Administrator <br />
