<br />X. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />XI. COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> <br />Council Member Sweeney reported that the Parks & Recreation Committee had <br />discussed the Pheasant Marsh Planned Unit Development (PUD) and had noted concern <br />for lot sizes and the location of the trailway. Council Member Sweeney also noted the <br />Parks & Recreation Committee would like to propose mitigating some of the wetland <br />near the back comer of the property for a future park in the event the property to the <br />south is developed. <br /> <br />Council Member Sweeney reported on the various activities of the Parks & Recreation <br />Committee indicating the desire of the Committee to carry remaining funds forward for <br />next year's projects. <br /> <br />Mr. March indicated a representative from the proposed Lino Lakes YMCA had <br />expressed an interest in working in conjunction with the City to build a skate park. <br /> <br />Council Member Travis indicated that the Economic Development Committee meeting <br />was scheduled for next week. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers indicated the Planning and Zoning Committee <br />meeting was scheduled for next week. <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber indicated the Police Commission meeting was scheduled for Thursday, <br />November 9, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. He then clarified information reported in the newspaper <br />concerning the underage drinking at Water Works Beach Club. Police Officers make <br />arrests outside of the establishment of underage individuals either drinking in their <br />vehicles or in the parking lot. These arrests are reported as being at Water Works Beach <br />Club which means they did not occur within the establishment. Mayor Wilharber stated <br />that if Water Works Beach Club had underage drinking occurring within the <br />establishment they would lose their liquor license. <br /> <br />XII. ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br /> <br />Mr. March noted the next regularly scheduled meeting fell on the Wednesday before <br />Thanksgiving and inquired as to whether the Council would like to reschedule the <br />meeting to November 20, 2000. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Sweeney. seconded by Council Member Travis to <br />reschedule the City Council Meeting from November 22. 2000 to November 20. <br />2000. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers questioned whether Mr. March had requested <br />information from the City Attorney concerning the possibility of placing a moratorium on <br />development within the City. <br /> <br />Page 9 of 10 <br />
