This committee could be comprised of representatives from: <br />One or two members of the police department <br />Members of the city councils <br />Members of the police commission <br />Members of the task force <br />Other past volunteers with the police department, i.e. police candidate board <br />interviewers <br />One or two education leaders <br />Graphics design specialist (volunteer) <br />General citizenry <br /> <br />These individuals would be given the task of fmding a suitable name and logo for the new <br />department. They will require and request input from our residents and hopefully, would have the <br />name and logo developed and approved by the three cities, with an implementation date of June 1, <br />2000. <br /> <br />If you are interested in serving, or know of someone who would want to serve on such a <br />committee, please forward the names for this Police Commission Ad Hoc Committee to me by <br />February 18, 2000.
