<br />Toy and Adaptive Equipment Lending L~rary - The library, <br />located in the Blaine office, is for children birth through age <br />seven. This unique library includes a variety of toys designed <br />to stimulate child development, adaptive equipment and other <br />resources available to the general public and families who have <br />children with disabilities. The goals for this program are: 1. <br />Through the use of toys and equipment, children will learn new <br />strategies or skills to help them increase motor, <br />speech/language, and cognitive development; and 2. Families will <br />increase their knowledge of adaptive equipment designed to <br />increase child development. <br /> <br />Leadership programs - and individual supports for adults with <br />developmental disabilities including People First Self Advocacy <br />Groups, low-income housing, individual assistance in problem <br />resolution, leisure planning and help accessing services. <br /> <br />VI. Project Specifics: <br /> <br />A. Project Location <br />The office is located at 1201 89th Ave NE #305, Blaine, MN 55434. <br />Services are provided to families and individuals throughout <br />Anoka County. <br /> <br />B.
