Through. your support she is able <br />to visit seniors and disabled adults in your community, providing <br />case management, referral and advocacy services for your <br />residents. She helps seniors and disabled adults by assisting <br />them in obtaining help through food programs, health services, <br />energy assistance, and crisis home repairs, etc. Without her work <br />in the community, many of these individuals would not get the <br />help they need, left in their homes with inadequate food, medical <br />care, or other basic necessities. <br /> <br />Because CDBG dollars are in such demand, some other cities are <br />funding the Senior Outreach Program through revenue from cable <br />television or through city dollars.
