<br />Council Member Travis felt the development would be beneficial. <br /> <br />Mr. Turner requested the developer include in his plans, a buffer that would serve as a separation <br />between residential and commercial property. Mr. Drilling stated that a fence and trees could be <br />implemented. <br /> <br />Mr. Drilling questioned the Council on what they would like to see as the structural design of the <br />building. Council Member Broussard Vickers stated that in her opinion, she would like to see the <br />new structure built similar to the existing strip mall, to give an image of consistency. Council <br />Member Nelson felt the new structure should focus more on the Design Team vision. The City <br />has been really supportive of the Design Team ideas, she would like to see something that would <br />make the structure look unique to Centerville. Mr. Turner added he would like to see a covered <br />walkway all along the building. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard Vickers. seconded by Council Member Travis to <br />close the Public Hearin2 at 6:30 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson questioned why the engineering and legal fees were higher then <br />budgeted. Mr. March responded the higher fees are due to an increase in attendance at meetings <br />and an overlap from H.R. Green. <br /> <br />Centennial Fire District - December & January Expenses <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson. seconded by Council Member Travis to approve the <br />expenditures for December and January Centennial Fire District expenditures.
