<br />Not <br />Approved <br /> <br />CENTERVILLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE <br />REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 15, 2000 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Centerville Economic Development Committee held their <br />regularly scheduled meeting on January 18,2000 at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />EDC Chairperson Tim Rehbine <br />Committee Member Mary Capra <br />Committee Member Lori Dorn <br />Committee Member Paul Montain <br />Committee Member Betsy Scheller <br />Council Member Dick Travis <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />EDC/StaffLiaison Aimee Fairbrother <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member John Magill <br />Committee Member Michelle Moser <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Chairperson Paul Montain called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />Motion b Ms. Scheller to a rove the Janua 18 1999 meetin minutes after noted chan e. <br />Ms. Dorn seconded the motion. Ms. Caora abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br />OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />DESIGN TEAM - "IDEAS IN ACTION" <br /> <br />A. City Theme (historical) <br />Ms. Capra and Ms. Dorn indicated they have researched the process required to have <br />buildings or land placed on the Historical Registry. Ms. Capra and Ms. Dorn agreed the <br />requirements the City would need to fulfill in establishing a Historical Commission may be <br />more then they are able to offer at this time. Ms. Capra added that through her research she <br />has learned Anoka County has a listing of historic buildings. The committee felt they would <br />be further ahead if they concentrated on placing buildings on the Anoka County Historical <br /> <br />-1- <br />
