<br />TO: Jim March and Council <br /> <br />FROM: Staff <br /> <br />SUBJECT: "Staff City Logo" attire, casual dress day and city contribution toward the <br />purchase of "Staff City Logo" attire <br /> <br />DATE: March 3, 2000 <br /> <br />Staff succeeds at presenting a professional, courteous, informative representation of the <br />City at all times (whether or not wearing casual attire) and requests to have Council <br />consider amending the current dress policy to include the following: <br /> <br />One casual dress day per week (blue jeans and "Staff City Logo" attire acceptable). <br />City provide staff with two (2) "Staff City Logo" shirts (polo, jean [long or short sleeved] <br />or sweatshirts) on an annual basis. <br /> <br />Local cities, of varying populations, were polled as to their dress policy and City provided "City <br />Logo" shirts: <br /> <br />Circle Pines <br />No written policy <br />Fridays are dress down days with City Logo shirt <br />Provided with one T-Shirt and one Polo Shirt <br /> <br />Forest Lake <br />No written policy <br />Fridays are casual days <br />No City provided attire <br /> <br />Lino Lakes <br />No written policy <br />Fridays are casual days <br />Provided with two "Uniform" City Logo shirts (one long sleeved and one short sleeved) <br />on an annual basis <br /> <br />Thank you for considering our request. <br />
