'Fa:t (651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION 00 - 04 <br />LAURIE LAMOTTE PARK REVITALIZATION <br />GRANT APPLICATION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Centerville act as a legal sponsor for the Laurie LaMotte Park <br />Revitalization Project contained in the Outdoor Recreation Grant Program Application to be submitted on <br />or before March 31, 2000, and that the City Administrator is hearby authorized to apply to the Department <br />of Natural Resources for funding on this project on behalf of the City ofCenterville. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City ofCenterville has the legal authority to apply for fmancial <br />assistance, and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate construction, <br />operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed project for its design life. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Centerville City Council has not incurred any costs described in <br />Item 4 and has not entered into any written agreements to purchase property. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City ofCenterville has not violated any Federal, State, or Local <br />laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or <br />corrupt practice. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application by the state, the City ofCenterville <br />may enter into an agreement with the Sate of Minnesota for the above reference project and that the City <br />of Centerville certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the grant <br />agreement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE approves the City Administrator to hereby authorize and execute such agreements as are <br />necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant. <br /> <br />Approved by the Centerville City Council on March 29, 2000. <br /> <br />Tom Wilharber, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Jim March, City Administrator <br />
