<br />Section 175-020: Alternative Display. In those cases where the principal building is <br />obscured from view from the street of address by accessory buildings, trees, shrubbery or <br />other visual obstruction, the numbers shall be displayed from a permanent mounting on the <br />property so that they are clearly visible from the street of address. <br /> <br />Division 180: Sporting, Athletic, and Music Events <br /> <br />Sporting, athletic, and music concert events, as defined herein, shall be permitted by <br />Special Use Permit in the Residential Districts of the City of Centerville, subject to the <br />following requirements: <br /> <br />A. Sporting, athletic, or music events shall be defined as the conducting <br />of such events by individuals, non-profit or profit organizations, <br />partnerships or corporations wherein participants and/or patrons are <br />charged an entry fee for the right to participate in such event and/or <br />compete for monetary or merchandise prizes. Such events shall <br />include, but not be limited to, softball, football, volleyball, broomball, <br />ice or field hockey, tennis, basketball tournaments, or outdoor music <br />concerts; and <br /> <br />B. Such activities shall be considered a Special Use within all <br />Residential Districts of the City and shall require a permit therefore. <br />The City shall have the right to make provisions in such permit for <br />insuring public health and sanitation, traffic regulation, noise and litter <br />control and regulation on the number of events that may be <br />conducted on a specific site. <br /> <br />Division 185: Planned Unit Developments (PUDs) <br /> <br />Section 185-010: Objectives. To help encourage a more creative approach to the use of <br />land, departures from the Centerville Zoning Ordinance may be granted by the City Council <br />in the form of Planned Unit Development Districts to achieve: <br /> <br />Subd. 1: <br /> <br />A maximum choice of living environments by allowing a <br />variety of housing building types and permitting an <br />increased density per acre and a reduction in lot <br />dimensions, yard, building setbacks, and area <br />requirements; and <br /> <br />Subd. 2: <br /> <br />A more useful pattern of open space and recreation <br />areas and, if permitted as part of the project', more <br />convenience in the location of accessory commercial <br />uses and services; and <br /> <br />Subd. 3: <br /> <br />A development pattern which preserves and utilizes <br />Page 47 of65 <br />
