<br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 26, 2000 <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />I Not Approved I <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly <br />scheduled meeting on April 26, 2000, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Tom Wilharber <br />Council Member Dick Travis <br />Council Member Terry Sweeney <br />Council Member Linda Broussard Vickers <br />Council Member Mari Nelson <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ST AFF: City Administrator, Jim March <br />City Attorney, James Hoeft <br />City Engineer, Tom Peterson <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber called the April 26, 2000 City Council meeting to order at 6:00 <br />p.m <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING (S) - None. <br /> <br />Ill. APPEARANCES/A WARDS <br /> <br />Citizen of the Year - Aimee Fairbrother <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber presented Aimee Fairbrother with the Citizen of the Year Award <br />in recognition of her dedication., service, and outstanding contribution to the City <br />of Centerville. He thanked Ms. Fairbrother for her many contributions to the <br />community and as an employee. <br /> <br />Ms. Fairbrother stated she appreciates the award but her greater award is the <br />appreciation expressed by the children of the community in the parks, schools, and <br />church. She stated it is an honor to received this award and thanked her husband <br />for his help and assistance with the projects she is involved in, for their daughter.s <br />support, as well as the support of her friends. <br /> <br />Centerville Historical Preservation - Mary Capra <br /> <br />Mayor Wilharber introduced Mary Capra who was a representative for the <br />Centerville Historical Preservation Society. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 12 <br />
