<br />city of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 14, 2007 <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard stated some areas could potentially have more people using <br />the parks. She recommended a fee that speaks to the number of people from an <br />occupancy rate, square footage rate, commercial rate, or industrial rate. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee stated a per parking space made some sense. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated he would research what has been done in other areas. <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Lakso. seconded by. Council Member Lee. to table the <br />Fee Schedule Poliey. AU in favor. Motion earried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />5. Anoka County Integrated Waste Management Agreement for Residential <br />Recvcling Program 2007. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated this item was on the docket towards end of 2006 and <br />sent back to the County to allow more flexibility in fund usage to include purchase of <br />recycled products. He reported the answer was negative. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso asked if he heard back from other communities. City <br />Administrator Larson replied ~ne community was given approval to purchase equipment. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked if the City could do its own recycling. City Administrator Larson <br />pointed out the funds could be used for Community Clean-Up Day and the City Garage <br />Sale. <br /> <br />Councilmember Paar suggested any money left at the end of the year as a credit back to <br />the residents. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard. seconded by Council Member Pur. to <br />approve the aereememt. All in favor. Motion earried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />6. Resolution #07-005 - Dedicating City Owned Property for Project Purposes. <br />a. Approval of Custodial Letter <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported this resolution gives the County rights to use City <br />property contributed to the project. He indicated language that it is a joint powers <br />agreement was added. He reported he wanted to add language to the custodial letter <br />"subject to the joint powers agreement." He explained where the property is located and <br />how the dollars could be used. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee. seconded by Council Member Pur. to approve. <br />Resolution #07-005. a Resolution Dedieating City Owned Property for Proiect <br />Purooses.
