Net developable land includes 406 acres for residential dwellings, 33 acres for commercial development and 55 acres for industrial land uses. Staging of development should occur in logical, contiguous increments. Future development identified in the Growth Management Plan is dependent upon the extensions of public utilities. Five year staging plans will assist the City in evaluating cost effective utility expansions and should reflect the pace of development anticipated. Table #8 identifies the breakdown of vacant land acreage in the City by land use and a five year staging concept for MUSA additions.
