TO: Park & Recreation Committee Members FROM: Kim Stephan DATE: July 31, 2003 SUBJECT: Parks & Recreation Budget and Project List The following information was provided by Committee Members Seeley and LeBlanc: I know I was to come up with some estimates for some of the improvements to Tracie McBride Park. I was hoping to get input from others on the P&R committee, since these are only guess-timates on my part for possible improvements. Here's a start, anyway.... Replace border and existing sand fill in large playlot: Expand existing basketball area to full court size: New (small) picnic shelter: $10,000 $ 4,000 $10,000 Removal of two existing, small playlots: Move existing playlot equipment to larger playlot: New Barbeque pit: $? $? $? I think there will be other ideas to add to this list, as we!1. I am hoping Tedd might be able to give us a ballpark figure for the labor intensive items (removing the small lots and moving the play equipment). We might also want to keep in mind that some of the improvements might be eligible for grant money.
