APPEARANCES

Mr. Richard Carlson, Hunters Crossing 2nd Addition, made an appearance to discuss the options the
Parks & Recreation Committee had proposed at the February, 5 2003 committee meeting. Mr. Carlson
first stated he was surprised by the recommendation of City Council to raise the Park Dedication Fees
for this development by $500.00 per lot for those lots developed in 2004, and by $1,000.00 for those
lots developed in 2006. City Council recommended this as an exchange for Mr. Carlson being able to
develop this property earlier than originally scheduled. Based on these amounts, this development will
pay the City of Centerville $270,000 in Park Dedication Fees. The committee informed Mr. Carlson
that this was a decision by council that was not based on a recommendation from the Parks &
Recreation Committee.

The committee had discussed the possibility of a tennis court being included in this development with
Chairperson Devine sending Mr. Carlson the following letter, dated February 26, 2003:

lof5
