We made this <br />same request of other contractors. We have received those quotations but have found it necessary to re- <br />quote the work for two reasons. First, we need to separate the quote into two We need to have one <br />quote for the pavilion in Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park and one for the pavilion in the park property at <br />1601 LaMotte Drive These projects need to remain separate and may be awarded to separate cantactors. <br />Secondly, we need to clarify a few of the requirements of the quote so that we can better compare quotes <br />from different contactors. In other words, we need to compare apples to apples Therefore, we have <br />summarized the requirements of the quotes below: <br /> <br />Contractor shall: <br />. Complete all necessary engineering including that needed for the structure, footings, and slab <br />The City will stake the location and elevation of the structure/slab. <br />. Strip topsoil and excavate as necessary. Excess material can be wasted on site but must be rough <br />graded as directed in the field. Salvaged topsoil shall be respread to the extent pOSSible. The City <br />will finish grade the site and restore turf. <br />. Provide and install necessary foundation material. <br />. Construct footings and concrete slab (28'x28'). <br />. Furnish, unload/unpack and install the structure. <br />o Structure shall be one of the following: <br />· Classic Recreation 24'x24' CRD Scottsdale Shelter <br />· Poligon Carnival Series Shelter # CAR 24-MR <br />· Approved equal <br /> <br />51.
