<br />Parks & Recreation Meeting Minutes 02-04-04 <br /> <br />The City Council of Centerville supports the Parks & Recreation Committee's <br />efforts to complete the Clearwater Trail Project, which is designed to connect the <br />Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Trail system to the Hardwood Creek Trail in Hugo. The <br />City of Centerville is willing to appropriate funds not to exceed $150,000 for the <br />Clearwater Trail Project. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Vice Chairperson <br />LeBlanc to approve the preceding statements. All in Favor. Motion passed <br />unanimously <br /> <br />Trails <br /> <br />No current updates other than what is included under the Grant Subcommittee updates. <br /> <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Warmin2 House Renovation <br /> <br />No current updates. <br /> <br />Tracie McBride Memorial Park <br /> <br />No current updates. <br /> <br />Wheels Skate Park <br /> <br />The committee discussed the option of contacting a representative from Sunrise, one of <br />the suppliers of skate board equipment, to help determine the placement of various pieces <br />and what could be effectively added to what is currently owned by the city. <br /> <br />VIa. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vice-Chairperson LeBlanc, seconded by Committee Member <br />Seeley to adjourn the January 7, 2004 Parks & Recreation Committee meeting at <br />7:42 p.m. All in favor.
