<br /> <br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes 03-03-04 <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, March 3, 2004 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks and Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held the regularly scheduled meeting on March 3,2004, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson T edd Peterson <br />Vice-Chairperson Wayne LeBlanc <br />Committee Member Andre Ziegler <br />Committee Member Julie Lindsay <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Committee Member Kathy Peil <br />Committee Member Richard Anderson <br /> <br />Council: <br /> <br />Council Member Tom Lee <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />Kim Stephan <br /> <br />M[Ji)@[V~[f@W@@] <br /> <br />L ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Chairperson Peterson called the meeting to order at 6:42 p.m. <br /> <br />n SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion was made by Vice-Chairperson LeBlanc, seconded by Committee Member Seeley, <br />to set the March 3, 2004 Parks & Recreation Committee Agenda with the above addition. <br />All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ID. PUBLIC HEARING(S) <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />IV. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Ms. Jen Smith, Chain of Lakes YMCA, made an appearance to discuss the summer program <br />they would like to offer for the 2004 summer season at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. The <br />program offered to residents in 2003 was a great success with 44 kids registered between the <br />two age groups. In 2004 the YMCA would like to offer two (2) - three (3) week sessions with <br />a similar program, adjusting the age groups slightly. The 2003 program was offered with no <br />charge to the City ofCenterville, charging the resident $10.00 per child for the 2 week session. <br /> <br />10f5 <br />
