I appreciate the City's position and intend to address <br />each issue raised. <br /> <br />As a first stepl I would like to clarify the issue of purchase price vs. raw-water pipe location: <br /> <br />In an April 20, 2004 letter to Ms. Kim MOOl:e-Sykes, attached for your reference, the City was <br />offered the following two options: <br /> <br />Option A; City removes pipe from the vacant lot, resulting in revised value of <br />$284,500 (reduced by $20,500 from $305,000). <br /> <br />Option B: City allows pipe to remain in place, resulting in revised value of <br />$253,900 (reduced by an additional $30,600 from Option A price of $284,500). <br /> <br />Centerville City Administer, Ms- Moore-Sykes, replied by letter of May 5,2004, directing Mr, <br />Tschid.a to present Option B to the Board of Water Commissioners for consideration. That option <br />was presented and accepted by our Board at its May 11, 2004 meeting, subject to approval of a <br />purchase agreement. <br /> <br />Secondly, I agree with your assessment that the Agreement paragraphs you reference should be reconciled, and <br />that doing so should not present a problem for either party. <br /> <br />SAINT PAUL REGIONAL WATER SERVICES <br />Stephen P.
