<br />t' <br /> <br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes September 6, 2006 <br /> <br />........ <br />~'P -<-'-, ". --,- <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />.... . <br /> <br />PARKS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Wednesday, September 6, 2006 - 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the Parks & Recreation Committee of the City of Centerville <br />held the regularly scheduled September 6, 2006 meeting at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Committee Member Suzanne Seeley <br />Committee Member Kevin Amundsen <br />Committee Member Linda Merkel <br />Committee Member Kathy Peil <br /> <br />(WOU@[?)[?)[f@W@@] <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Council Member leffPaar (City Council Work Session scheduled at the same time) <br /> <br />Staff: <br /> <br />Kim Stephan <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />Chairperson Peil called the September 6, 2006 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting to order <br />at 6:32 p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Seeley, seconded by Committee Member <br />Amundsen to set the September 6, 2006 Parks & Recreation Committee Agenda as is. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />III. APPEARANCES <br /> <br />Chairperson Peil presented outgoing Chairperson Peterson with a plaque recognizing his years of <br />service and dedication, as well as personally thanking him for the tremendous amount of work he <br />has done for the committee and the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Kevin Selander and Ms. Carrie lakober attended the committee meeting as prospective <br />members. After each telling the committee about themselves and their interest in the committee, <br />the following motion was made. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Committee Member Amundsen, seconded by Committee Member <br />Seeley to recommend City Council appoint Mr. Kevin Selander and Ms. Carrie Jakober to <br />the Parks & Recreation Committee.
