<br />Parks & Recreation Committee <br />Meeting Minutes September 6, 2006 <br /> <br />Centennial Hockev Association's Request for the Use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park <br />for Dry Land Practice <br /> <br />The Centennial Hockey Association requested the use of the Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park rink <br />for dry land practice. The Parks & Recreation Committee made a recommendation which <br />council approved. Ms. Stephan forwarded the information and requirements for usage to Mr. <br />Brian Hronski, Outdoor Ice Coordinator to begin usage on August 10, 2006. As of this time, the <br />City has not received a schedule of usage, list of coaches or a signed waiver; neither has the <br />CYHA requested keys. <br /> <br />Trial Easement - 1818 Fox Run <br /> <br />Per Parks & Recreation's recommendation and Council's approval, Mr. Ziegler was notified he <br />needed to remove the bridge from the City easement by August 10, 2006. As of August 23, 2006 <br />the bridge had not been removed. An attorney for Mr. Ziegler called the City to request the City <br />not remove the bridge until he was able to review the issue, talk to City Administrator Larson and <br />Mr. Ziegler returned from out of the country. This request was passed on to the City Attorney. <br />As of this date, Mr. Ziegler's attorney notified the City that the bridge would be removed within <br />the week. <br /> <br />Removine: Trail Easements from Trail/Sidewalk MaDS <br /> <br />The committee did not have an update from Public Works at this time. <br /> <br />IX. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion was made by Chairperson Peil, seconded by Committee Member Seeley to adjourn the <br />September 6, 2006 Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting at 7:55 p.m. All in favor.
