It is intented to be the recreation complex for <br />organized sport! in the city. :e <br /> <br />During the week: the fields are used by orpnized sports leagues. . <br /> <br />Royal Meadows is the only other part facility the city offers. Obtained through the city's 10% park <br />dedication ordinance. it functions as a neighborhOQd park for the residents 01 this development. . <br /> <br />Centervil1e has a need for a comprehensive part plan. The farm fields of today. . <br />, <br /> <br />- <br />are being converted rapidly into the housing of U>morrow.. <br /> <br />The plan for development for the parts of CenterviUeare based upon the concepts olFredrick Law <br />Olmsted and Hotace Cleveland who pioneered park planning in America during the late 1800's. <br />Olmsted designed Central park in New Yort City which was the first pub lis part in America.. . <br /> <br />Olmsted also. developed the nation's first plan for a part system in Boston called the Emerald <br />Necklace.
