We are planning an upgrade to Laurie LaMotte <br />Memorial Park in 2005. This park currently does not have a play structure to compliment the skate <br />park, ball fields and soccer fields. The project cost is approximately $45,000 and would include the <br />purchase of equipment, base, border and volunteer labor for installation. The committee would like to <br />request $10,000 in charitable gambling funds from your organization. While recognizing the <br />limitations of your funding, any amount the Spring Lake Park Lions could donate towards this <br />purchase would be greatly appreciated <br /> <br />The City of Centerville would like signage to be installed at this project or at the Wheels Skate Park to <br />recognize your donations and support. If your organization has signage available to provide for this <br />purpose, the City will install it, if not; the City would consider purchasing signage depending on the <br />cost. <br /> <br />Thank you in advance for your consideration of the Parks & Recreation Committee's request.
