Please review the materials carefully. Application <br />requirements, such as due dates for complete applications, do vary. We recommend that <br />you visit the DNR Website at www.dnr.state.mn.us for more detailed information for <br />each program as well as other programs available at the DNR. Click on the grants link to <br />locate the programs of interest. <br /> <br />If you are interested in applying for a grant, you can return the enclosed Application <br />Request Form or access the web site for the specific program of interest to submit an <br />Application Request Form online or, for some programs, download the application <br />materials. This should be completed as soon as possible to allow adequate time for the <br />DNR staff to discuss the project with you and, if necessary, provide the appropriate <br />application materials. Lead time may be required to meet application requirements, such <br />as holding a public hearing, permit review, completion of appraisals, etc. <br /> <br />Communities interested in the Outdoor Recreation or Regional Park grant programs <br />should check out the 2003-2008 State Comprehensive Outdoor recreation Plan (SCaRP). <br />To locate the SCaRP document, go to www.dnr.state.mn.us.click the "Grants" heading, <br />for the link to the plan. <br /> <br />If you have questions or need additional information about any of the grant programs <br />described in this packet, please contact the appropriate grants staff listed after each <br />program.
