Lunar and Star-Gazing Full Moon
Thursday, December 15; 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Yearning to learn more about the moon and the stars? The winter months
are the best time to see these celestial bodies. Join us on Thursday,
December 15th, at Wargo Nature Center in Centerville, for a fun and
informative evening of moon lore and star-gazing with WCCO Radio's
meteorologist, Mike Lynch. Lynch has been teaching astronomy classes for
over 35 years, writes a weekly stargazing column for the St. Paul Pioneer
Press and has completed his first book, "Mike Lynch's Minnesota Star
Watch." We'll use large reflecting telescopes, including a giant 20"
reflector, one of the biggest mobile telescopes in Minnesota, for close up
views of star clusters, nebulae, planets, and galaxies. Activity will take
place snow or "moon" shine. Please bring a mug. The fee for this activity is
$3jperson. For more information, contact Wargo Nature Center at 651-
429-8007.
