City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />February 14, 2007 <br />Administrator Larson stated the first step is to do a city-wide inspection. He stated that <br />once the City is aware of a safety hazard, it must fix it. <br /> <br /> <br />b.Pothole Repair <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated that to prevent liability to the City, potholes must be <br />identified and repaired. <br /> <br />Council Member Lakso recommended addition wording relative to the warning signs be <br />added to the policy. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to approve <br />the Pothole Policy. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />c.Street Sweeping. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra indicated the street sweeping is typically done by Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />Administrator Larson replied that sweeping in Centerville would be subject to Lino <br />Lakes’ schedule. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar, to approve <br />the Street Sweeping Policy. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />4.Ordinance #XX, Second Series – 2007 Fee Schedule <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson requested tabling consideration of this ordinance until specific <br />items area corrected. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked if the administrative fees associated with meth lab clean up are <br />enough. City Attorney Glaser stated the cost plus the fee is received by the city. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard pointed out statements in rental property documents state the <br />owner is liable for cleanup. <br /> <br />Council Member Lee asked if the garbage hauling fee covers the clerical fees. City <br />Administrator Larson replied there is normally a list of several properties and the cost <br />would be covered by the proposed fee. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Broussard brought up massage parlor fees. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson replied this is one of the items that need revision. He stated <br />the license is for the premises and the individual requires a separate license. <br /> <br />Councilmember Broussard stated the Commercial Park Dedication fees should be looked <br />at. <br />Page 7 of 13 <br />
