<br />City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />October 5, 2004 <br /> <br />6977 Centerville Road - Rider <br />6849 Centerville Road - Wilharber <br /> <br />Chair Hanson opened the public hearing at 6:55 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wilharber indicated he would be abstaining from voting and asked that his <br />address of 6849 be included on the agenda as it was included in the public hearing notice. <br /> <br />Motion bv Commissioner BanzaI. seconded bv Commissioner Klennert Bunt to <br />close the public heann!!. All in favor. Motion carried unanimouslv. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson closed the public hearing at 6:56 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hanzal asked whether all the setbacks and requirements are met with all <br />of the lots. <br /> <br />Chair Hanson indicated that the requirements are satisfied. <br /> <br />Motion bv Commissioner Klennert Bunt. seconded bv Commissioner Lakso to <br />recommend aporoval of the rezonin!! of the above-listed oroperties as reauested. <br />Aves - 4. Navs - O. Abstain -l(Wilharber). Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />V. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. Ordinance #16 - Use of Highways Within the City of Centerville and The <br />Imposing Penalties for the Violation Thereof. Section #4 - Review <br /> <br />This item will be discussed at the November meeting. <br /> <br />2. Re-Schedule November 2.2004 Meeting (General Election) <br /> <br />The Commission agreed to reschedule the November meeting for November 1,2004. <br /> <br />VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A man addressed the Commission and indicated he was interested in purchasing the <br />house next to City Hall for a small auto dealership. He then asked whether it would be <br />possible to have such a business in that location. <br /> <br />The Commission discussed the matter and he was informed that the property would need <br />to be rezoned and it is not likely that the City would do so as that side of the street is <br />residential and to rezone this parcel could be considered spot zoning. <br /> <br />Page 3 of4 <br />
