<br />SEP-30-04 01:34 PM <br /> <br />P.10 <br /> <br />pedestrian right-of-way if said sidewalk, walkway or pedestrian right-of way is located <br />within the right and left hand limits of a driveway which is used by vehicular traffic in <br />gaining access to either a business or a residence. It is unlawful to park in violation of this <br />Section. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />SECTION 9.09. PARKING HOURS. Parking on streets shall be limited as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Subd. 1. It is unlawful for any person to stop, park or leave standing any vehicle <br />upon any street for a continuous period in excess of twenty-four (24) hours. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. The Clerk may, when authorized by resolutions of the Council. designate <br />certain streets, blocks or portions of streets or blocks as prohibited parking zones. or five- <br />minute, ten-minute. fifteen-minute, thirty-minute, one-hour, two-hour, four-hour, six- <br />hour, eight-hour, morning or afternoon rush hour limited parking zones and shall mark by <br />appropriate signs any zones so established. Such zones shall be established whenever <br />necessary for the convenience of the public or to minimize traffic hazards and preserve a <br />free flow of traffic. It is unlawful for any person to stop, park or leave standing any <br />vehicle in a prohibited parking zone, for a period of time in excess of the sign-posted <br />limitation, or during sign-posted hours of prohibited parking. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. For the purpose of enforcement of this Section, any vehicle moved less <br />than two blocks in a limited time parking zone shall be deemed to have remained <br />stationary . <br /> <br />..JG SECTION 9.10. WINTER P ARKlNG RESTRlCfIONS. <br /> <br />A. From November 151 to April 1st no owner shall park or permit to be <br />parked a vehicle on any street between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 6:00 A.M. without an <br />emergency parking penn it issued by the Centennial Lakes Police Department. <br /> <br />B. Snow Removal. It is unlawful for any person to park a vehicle on <br />any street after continuous or intermittent snowfall during which there has been an <br />accumulation of two (2) inches or more of snow on any street, and until all snow, ice and <br />similar debris has been plowed from the paved portion of the street. <br />Revised 3/S/98 #98'() I <br /> <br />SECTION 9.11. TRUCK PARKING. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. It is unlawful to park a detached semi-trailer upon any street, City- <br />owned parking lot, or other public property except streets as specifically designated by <br />the Council by resolution and sign-posted. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. It is unlawful to park a semi-trailer, truck.tractor. or a combination <br />thereof, within an area zoned as a residential district, except for the purpose of loading or <br />unloading the same. <br />
