<br />disrepair or is otherwise injurious to public safety, health or welfare will <br />be declared to be a nuisance and ordered removed. <br /> <br />Subd. 9. <br /> <br />Traffic View. No fence along a public street may be constructed or <br />altered so as to visually obstruct the view from a vehicle on that street of <br />approaching traffic on that street or another street. <br /> <br />422.08 Parking Requirements. The following outlines the minimum number of parking spaces <br />required for various uses permitted in the City. The City may modify minimum <br />parking requirements in the M-I Zoning District, as part of the Site Plan Approval <br />process, if it is determined that the use is consistent with the purpose of the M-l <br />District and street parking is sufficient to accommodate the use. All property in the City <br />must comply with the following on-site parking requirements. <br /> <br />Subd. 1. <br /> <br />Parking Spaces. <br /> <br />a.) Parking spaces must be at least 9 feet by 18 feet in the Zoning <br />Districts of B-1, I and the commercial uses in M-l. Parking <br />spaces must be clearly marked and painted. <br /> <br />b.) All vehicles parked on any lot in any Zoning District must be <br />parked on a surface paved with asphalt or bituminous material, <br />concrete, cement, brick, or other paved surface. <br /> <br />c.) Any vehicle without current state registration must be parked in a <br />garage or other allowable building. <br /> <br />Subd. 2. <br /> <br />Minimum number of Parking Spaces: <br />a.) Residential units must have at lease 2 parking spaces per unit. <br /> <br />b.) Churches, theaters, restaurants must have a number of parking <br />spaces which is not less than 1 parking space per 3 seats. <br /> <br />c.) Schools must have 1 parking space per classroom plus 1 parking <br />space per 3 seats in the largest assembly. <br /> <br />d.) Office units must have 5 parking spaces per 1,000 SF of gross <br />floor space. <br /> <br />e.) Retail units must have 6 parking spaces per 1,000 SF of gross <br />floor space. <br /> <br />f.) Convenience stores must have 7 parking spaces per 1,000 SF of <br />gross floor area. <br /> <br />g.) General services units must have 4 parking spaces per 1,000 SF <br />of gross floor area. <br /> <br />6 <br />
