This Ordinance will create a <br />"slow, no-wake speed, 24' hours per day all year in an area to the North of the Southern <br />section lines of Section 10 and 11 of Township 31N Range 22W starting at the southern <br />boundary of Rehbeins Peltier View Subdivision of Lino Lakes. The purpose of this <br />ordinance is to protect the Great. Blue Heron and White Egret nesting habitat on Peltier <br />Island, and to miniml7'.e environmental impacts that may occur due to higher speed watercraft <br />activities occurring on the perimeter of the island. The said meeting will take place on <br />Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at the Centerville City Hall, 1880 Main Street in the. Council <br />Chambers beginning at 6:30 p.m. or shortly thereafter. <br /> <br />The City Hall is ADA accessible. Requests for hearing assisted devices or a sign language <br />interpreter must be received before 4:00 p.m., March 8, 2002. All persons interested are <br />invited to attend and to be heard, orally or in writing.
