I have taken action on the <br />following: <br /> <br />1. In the matter of Police Chief Pecchia 's concern about the no-wake <br />line moving the high speed boats closer to the docks and swimming areas <br />on the east side of the lake. I checked with our Boat and Water Safety <br />people who gave me information on the right of the lakeshore owners to <br />mark off a 2500 square foot swimming area with buoys etc. to warn boats <br />away from people swimming. I have sent this information to Chief <br />Pecchia and also talked to him on the phone about this option. He <br />seemed to be satisfied. <br /> <br />I talked to Mayor Swedberg about this yesterday and he seemed <br />comfortable with this. <br /> <br />3. In the matter of a deadline or sunset provision for the ordinance as <br />proposed in Lino Lakes. This gets a bit more complicated.
