<br />To: Parks and Recreation Committee Members <br />From: Kim Stephan <br />Date: April 25, 200~ <br />Subject: Update on Outstanding Issues <br /> <br />The Bonestroo Trail Map Brochmes were on the April 16, 2002 EDC <br />Agenda to be considered as part of their next New Resident Packet No <br />decision was made, as the committee did not have a quorum. I will place it <br />on the next EDC Agenda. It should be noted, however, that we currently <br />have approximately 200 of the folders in stock which, will be used before <br />reordering, so this will not be something that is done in the near future <br /> <br />The City Council made a motion at the April 24, 2002 Council Meeting to <br />retwn the $1,913 to the Centerville Lions as it was given to the City of <br />Centerville and subsequently Parks & Recreation in error. <br /> <br />I have talked with Rhonda Lynch at Wargo Nature Center and we will have <br />a Registration Form to proof at the May 1, 2002 scheduled meeting. She <br />mentioned to me that the school is usually willing to distribute flyers, but <br />only if fees are waived for those unable to pay, or assistance is offered. <br /> <br />The balloons and weights were located and the buttons are available to the <br />Lions for Fete des Lacs. <br /> <br />FYI <br /> <br />Enclosed copies of the following: <br /> <br />A news release from the Rice Creek Watershed regarding the new <br />phosphorus law. <br /> <br />Fete des Lacs Parade information and registration form.. <br /> <br />The Wheels Park insurance claim has been paid for the stolen ramp.
