The "park and ride" has grown. over the past <br />couple years and the Tom Thumb parking lot is now to small for the program.. Tom <br />Thumb is requesting the City's guidance in resolving this concern. Mr. Byrkit and Mr:. Larson are requesting permission for a Special <br />Use Permit to construct an 19,800 sqwire foot speculative commercial building <br />between Reel ~umcturing and R & R Leasing. <br /> <br />. Mr. March stated the LaMotte Park grant application has been revised, although <br />there are not any dollars expected to be allotted to the program this year. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Main Street Speed Study <br /> <br />Mr. Travis read a letter addressed to Mayor W"Ilharber from 17 year old Jessica <br />Spanjers who was writing about a speed limit she believes needs to be lowered. Her <br />proposal is that the speed limit on Main Street, between the school and 20th Avenue <br />should not be 45mph. It should be lowered to 30mph immediately. Ms. Spmgers <br />6 <br />
