Anyway, just so you know what this message is about, I was to find rough
trail costs and, if possible, more information on recycled products - in
particular, bike racks - that might be applied toward "ScoreD funds (we have
about $5k or so perhaps).

On another topic, we are all supposed to go take a look at the satellite at
Tracie McBride Park to see if there is another location. Right now, there
are cables and things underground and Tedd does not want to dig there. The
location must be handicap accessible and within reach of maintenance. We
talked about finding another location, or, for the worst case, possibly
letting it go for a season without an enclosure. (Trees require a DbigD
hole, a "fence" enclosure could be hand dug.) A side note - if anyone has a
pair of wire cutters, snip the wire girdling the trees at Tracie Mcbride
(Tom thought he might be able to get to it. If you don't Tom, let me know
and I'll go hack at it this weekend...)

Everybody,

Here's what I found.

I called and got rough trail costs. The cost is roughly $17 per foot. (For
the Shores development, the engineer estimated 650 feet of trail, added some
miscellaneous cost (such as engineering) and came up with $11,000.)

There is lots of information ,companies, and products on the Internet
offering recycled products of all kinds. In particular, we were wondering
last night if there were any bike racks available. The below is just one
place that I found offering bicyle racks from recycled material.

http://www.recycledplasticman.com/bike.htm

CHEERS!

Wayne

1
