Mr. Pa1zer had reported to Ms. Moore-Sykes that this is a 5 to 10 year plan that needed updating and it will need to be included in the 2003 budget. Ebpsp~ Ma~rs Cross.... TpiI City Administrator Moore-Sykes requests the Parks & Recreation Committee review the need for a crossing/warning sign where the trail from Hunters Crossing runs across Centerville Road to the Pheasant Marsh I trail. Tom WiIharber came before council to request something be done as it is a dangerous situation for bikers who are not aware that they are coming onto a busy county road. Ms. Moore Sykes would like a letter drafted by Parks & Recreation to Anoka County. Staff will prepare and send. ~on's 'ranch ~.!IlJleDOrt on Concession S~ The council has requested a report on concession sales at Laurie LaMotte Park by the Lion's Branch Club during the Little League season 2002. The Branch Club had proposed donating 20% of the profits to the Parks & Recreation Committee. I gave the committee copies of the form to request funds from the Spring Lake Park Lions at the last meetWp. Committee Member Peterson requested this item be discussed to determirle if this is something the committee would like to pursue. Mark Larson from Dead Broke Saddle Club said requesting funds just requires a letter stating the amount requested, what the funds are to be used for, and a time frame. 1 of~
