COUNTY OF ANOKA

Public Services Division
HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
1440 BUNKER LAKE BLVD. NW., ANDOVER, MINNESOTA 55304-4005
(763) 862-4200 FAX (763) 862-4201

MEMORANDUM

Date: April 27, 2007

To:

From:

Commissioner Rhonda Sivarajah

Doug Fischer, PE~/
County Engmeer

Re:

Traffic Data Collection -
Eagle Brook Church/CSAH 14 (main Street)/CSAH 54 (20th Avenue)

As you requested, we collected traffic data during a peak church operational period
(Easter Sunday) at the intersection ofCSAH 14 and CSAH 54 (4/8/2007 from 9:30am-
11 :30am) and on CSAH 54 (11 :OOam 4/5/2007 thru 11 :OOam 4/9/2007) in the vicinity of
the Eagle Brook Church access.

Dual left turn lanes are typically considered when the left turn volume is greater than 300
vehicles per hour. The EB CSAH 14 to NB CSAH 54 left turn volume for the 1.5 hour
time period of data collection on 4/8/2007 was! 118 vehicles. Consequently consideration
of a dual left turn lane for this movement would not be required.

Copies of the traffic data collection reports are attached for your use and reference.
Please contact me if questions.

Cc: Terri Klein, Permit Technician

Affirmative Action!
