<br />City of Centerville <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 25, 2007 <br /> <br />Councilmember Lee stated he was inclined to agree, as it is only one night and other <br />liquor establishments are open until 2:00 a.m. He stated he fully understood the <br />reasonmg. <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Peil commented from the audience that it is Centerville's 150th anniversary. He <br />commented the Lions are not asking for this every year, just for this special occasion. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra replied that the Lions and the City are both putting up a significant amount <br />of money. <br /> <br />Mr. Kieselhorst stated increased security would be provided for both Friday and Saturday <br />to check identification. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the requested additional hour for both the noise and liquor <br />sales. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard. seconded by Council Member Lakso. to <br />approve the temporary 3.2 Liquor License at Laurie LaMotte Park on Friday. <br />AU2:ust 3. 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.. Saturday, AU2:ust 4, 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.mo <br />and Sunday. AU2:ust 5.10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Fete des Lacs as requested by the <br />Centerville Lions. All in favor. 1 Nay-Capra. Motion carried. <br /> <br />b. Noise Permit <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso. seconded by Council Member Paar. to approve <br />the Noise Permit at Laurie LaMotte Park for Friday. AU2:ust 3.8:00 a.m. to <br />Midni2:ht. Saturday, AU2:ust 4. 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and Sunday. AU2:ust 5. 8:00 <br />a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Fete des Lacs as requested by the Centerville Lions. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />c. Fireworks Permit <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Broussard. seconded by Council Member Lakso. to <br />approve the Fireworks Permit at Laurie LaMotte Park for Friday. AU2:ust 3. <br />Saturday, AU2:ust 4. and the potential for Sunday, AU2:ust 5. for Fete des Lacs as <br />requested by the Centerville Lions. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilrnernber Broussard asked if the individuals hired for security would give a <br />certificate of insurance to the Lions.
