City of Centerville <br />Meeting Minutes <br />April 25, 2007 <br />seemed to be consensus to appoint a non-resident. He stated the amendment could not be <br />completed without a public hearing. <br /> <br />A discussion on the amended resolution ensued. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lee, seconded by Council Member Lakso, to approve <br />Calling a Public Hearing for Amending and Restating Resolution 06-046. All in <br />favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />6.Acceptance of Submitted Bid for the Purchase of the 1986 Ford CC CDL Plow <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated one bid was received for the 1986 Ford CC CDL plow <br />truck in the amount of $9,611.00. He recommended Council approve the bid offer. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the bid process. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Paar, to Accept <br />the Submitted Bid for the Purchase of the 1986 Ford CC CDL Plow in the amount <br />of $9,600.00. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII.NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br /> <br /> <br />1. City Administrator Larson <br />City Administrator Larson reported Centerville received grants amounting to <br />$788,000.00 towards Phase I. He commented additional grants would be submitted at a <br />later date for Phase II as part of a livable communities’ project. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson reported the relocation of utility lines should happen in early <br />June. He commented Anoka County has not made bid notices for CSAH 14 yet as the <br />State approval has not been obtained. <br /> <br />th <br />Mayor Capra reported the traffic count on 20 Avenue was completed over Easter <br />weekend and the result indicated it did not warrant a second eastbound left turn traffic <br />lane. <br /> <br /> <br />2. Centerville Sesquicentennial <br />a. LaCompany <br /> <br />Mayor Capra reported she received a letter from them and they have agreed to participate <br />on August 4 & 5, 2007 with the understanding that they provide an interpretive fur trade <br />event. LaCompany has requested to camp on site at the park for the event and they <br />would be cooking outdoors both Saturday and Sunday evening. Mayor Capra indicated <br />Page 6 of 7 <br />
