This is the way I would <br />approach it: <br /> <br />I would write a quick letter to send with the quote request stating that the following must be included in the quote: <br />. All necessary engineering including engineering of the structure and foundation. <br />. Furnish (including delivery and unpacking) and install the structure, foundation and any needed base material <br />. Rough finish grading of the disturbed area. <br /> <br />Not included would be turf restoration and finish grading. <br /> <br />We could manage this process and write the letter/spec in a few hours. Obviously a <br />minimal spec would be needed to get quotes. The Park Committee received quotes from Flanagan Sales and from Midwest <br />Playscapes, but they are not apples and apples. They also quoted them together which may push the cost over $50,000. If <br />they are kept a distinctly separate park projects, we should be okay with quotes. The Committee is looking at a 24 foot <br />square pavilion with a two step roof or cupola. Both of the companies will provide "MInnesota Stamped" engineered <br />drawings. <br /> <br />6/14/2007 <br />
