Centeroiffe, :M!N 55038 <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA (651) 429-3232 · PaJ((651) 429-8629 <br />COUNTY OF ANOn <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ##07-0%3 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE TO SUBMIT A THE <br />LIVABLE COMMUNITIES LOCAL HOUSING INCENTIVE PRE-APPUCATION <br />GRANT FOR 2007 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED that the city of Centerville is authorized and bas submitted a pre- <br />application grant in conjunction with the Beard Group, Inc. for Phase One of the redevelopment <br />of the Centerville downtown area. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ofCenterville has the legal authority to apply for <br />financial assistance, and the institutional, m~fU\8erial, and financial capability to ensure adequate <br />project administration. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ofCenterville has not violated any Federal, State <br />or local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other <br />unlawful or corrupt practice. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon approval of its application, the City of Centerville <br />may enter into agreements for the above referenced project(s), and that the City of Centerville <br />certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulation as stated in all contract <br />agreements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, after appropriate ~Ilmination and <br />consideration, the governing body of the City: <br /> <br />Finds that it is in the best interests of the City's development goals and priorities for the <br />proposed projects to occur at these particular sites at this particular time. <br /> <br />1. Finds that the project components for which Livable Communities Demonstration Account <br />funding is sought: . <br /> <br />(a) will not occur solely through private or other public investment within the reasonably <br />foreseeable future; and <br />
